A NIGHT IN THE COLD: On Saturday, December 5th participants will brave the elements by sleeping outside for one night. Where and how you sleep is up to you! You can sleep in places like a tent, sleeping bag, or your car, some of the ways our street homeless do when they are without shelter. Others may opt for their porch, garage floor, or church/school parking lot. You can participate alone or in socially-distanced groups. It’s open to everyone of all ages - families, individuals, faith and school groups, sports teams, the scouts, and businesses!
THE CAUSE: 100% of the proceeds will go towards our shelter programs and provide a warm and safe place for homeless families to rebuild their lives this winter.
Join a team or participate on your own! Go to the Get Started tab above to register and kick off your fundraising. The $25 fee will go towards your fundraising goal.
Once you register, a fundraising page is created for you with built-in tools to make it easy to fundraise. Aim high! 100% of the proceeds go to our homeless families in need.

There are nearly 1000 homeless individuals in Morris County, which is why it’s so important to support Homeless Solutions.
Our shelter operates 24/7 with a dedicated staff committed to providing comprehensive resources for our guests. For the homeless that are not living full-time at the shelter, they can use the Warming Center during the colder nights. This provides a warm bed, meal and place to freshen up.
We all deserve the basic needs of shelter and warmth during these colder months. By supporting A Night in the Cold, you are supporting the hundreds of homeless in our community and letting them know they are not alone.
