Havinawalk

Havinawalk FAQ

Q: Is this walk COVID-safe?

A: We are taking all measures to make sure that you and your family are as safe as possible. We are requiring masks to be worn at all times. We are also limiting how many walkers can be on-site through time-slot sign ups on the registration page. There will be hand sanitizing stations, individually packed snacks, and volunteers frequently wiping down activity areas.

Q: How far do I have to walk?

A: You can walk as short or as long of a distance as you choose, which is why Havinawalk is great for all ages!

Q: Will there be bathroom accessibility at Havinawalk?

A: Yes! There will be full access to The Weber School's bathrooms, which will be sanitized throughout the event for safety.

Q: Where should I park for Havinawalk?

A: You will be able to park in the Staff Parking Lot at The Weber School. Staff and volunteers will direct you to parking.

Q: What if it rains on April 18th?

A: Havinawalk is happening rain or shine, so wear your rainboots and rain gear! Additionally, there will be large tents set up where you can weather the worst of the rain.

Q: What does it mean to walk virtually?

A: If you would rather stay closer to home but still want to participate, please choose the "Virtual" walk option. Walk anywhere at anytime on April 18th from 1-5pm. Post photos and videos of your virtual walk on your team page and social media! Make sure to use #JFCSHavinawalk.

Q: Can I bring my dog to Havinawalk?

A: While we love dogs, they are not invited to this event.
