Advancing Towards a Cure for Cancer

The Killebrew-Thompson Memorial is dedicated to raising funds for leukemia and cancer research. Proceeds from our annual charity event help to advance cancer research and care at the institutions where our dedicatees underwent treatment: Danny Thompson at Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and Harmon Killebrew at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute in Boise, Idaho.

To date KTM has donated more than $18.4 million to these institutions, which has gone directly to cancer research. Our beneficiaries leverage these funds three- to five-fold through matching grant programs, increasing the annual impact of our contribution to the million-dollar mark.

The Masonic Cancer Center focuses on the research and development of new cancer therapies that hold the promise of faster diagnoses, targeted treatments, and improved outcomes.

St. Luke’s Cancer Institute brings cutting-edge clinical trials to Idaho and the Northwest. These trials contribute to global cancer research to the benefit of patients worldwide.
