Join our team and go the extra mile for wildlife as part of the 2023 Los Angeles charity half Marathon on March 19, 2023!  

The L.A. Charity Half Marathon is an amazing opportunity for runners to give back to their communities, including the conservation efforts of the Los Angeles Zoo! This is our inaugural year as a nonprofit partner, and you can be one of the first to run the 2023 L.A. Charity Half Marathon for the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) and the L.A. Zoo. 

But run fast to register, as there are a limited number of spots available.*  

As a special bonus, those who register and fundraise not only receive a spot in the L.A. Charity Half Marathon, but in the L.A. Zoo’s inaugural in-person Walk for the Wild Presented by Skechers on February 25!  

When you register for the L.A. Charity Half Marathon and select the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association and L.A. Zoo as your non-profit partner, your participation and generosity are helping to make the world a better place, starting with your own backyard. The L.A. Charity Half Marathon is your chance to step up and demonstrate your belief in the Zoo’s mission to save species and provide a safe and inspiring place for our community to build a relationship with nature. GLAZA works tirelessly—every day—to promote that mission. Your registration ensures that the Zoo’s conservation initiatives continue, and that GLAZA has the resources to go the extra mile in supporting the Zoo, so that future generations will continue to experience the joy of wild things and wild places. 

*Each runner commits to raising $650 by March 15, 2023 in order to participate in the L.A. Charity Half Marathon. Please note that a valid credit card MUST be added during registration to secure your fundraising minimum. Before you receive a link to register for the L.A. Charity Half Marathon, you must create a fundraising page. If the runner does not meet the fundraising commitment, we will charge the remaining amount to the payment method provided.
