Tell us about him/her. Connor was actively involved with CCFA since his Crohn's diagnosis in 1998, including serving as a counselor for Camp Oasis. Our family would like to thank the physicians and nurses who cared for Connor over the years, especially Dr. Dennis Christie, Teresa Wachs, RN, Dr. Wahbeh and Dr. Burpee. You helped make the Crohn's journey bearable. Connor once wrote “To me, ‘community’ means a place where everyone means something.” To say Connor means something to so many people would be an understatement. His love, passion, and sarcasm will live on in all of our hearts.
What made him/her smile? He loved his friends and his family, and forcing them to watch Marvel movies. He loved using big vocabulary words to make him sound important, and sharing random facts he'd learned from his reading and documentaries. His real passion was community service, making sure others were supported and developing their leadership skills.
