18th Annual Walk to End Homelessness supporting New London Homeless Hospitality Center

Note: Online registration will close at 9 AM on April 27. You can still register in person at the event!
The 18th Annual Walk to End Homelessness is not just a fundraising event but a powerful reminder that the battle against homelessness is ongoing. With the emergency shelter operating at maximum capacity, your support plays a vital role in addressing our guests' financial challenges and helping them find a way home. The New London Homeless Hospitality Center (NLHHC) isn't just an emergency shelter – it addresses homelessness from every angle by connecting people with services and federal programs, promoting job readiness, running a housing resource center, and even providing some permanent housing.
Don't miss your chance to be part of a community that cares deeply about making a difference. Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone in our community.
Join us on Sunday, April 27 for a walk around Downtown New London. There will be food, live music, and opening remarks at Parade Plaza. Other local non-profits will also be present to inform you about their work. Come see for yourself the strength of our community as we come together for a common cause.
Check-in begins at 12 PM. The Wakin' Up Wagon will be selling coffee and kombucha until 1 PM, and free food and snacks will be available after the walk. Opening Remarks at 12:45 PM, with the walk starting shortly after. Music will continue after the walk!
There is no cost for children under 12. In the event of rain, an alternative venue will be announced.
Free parking is available along many downtown streets as well as the 1-11 Eugene O'Neill Drive lot. The municipal garage at Governor Winthrop & Union St. is also free. The Water Street lot may be available for ~$5.
Connecticut College Students: A shuttle will be running from Harkness Chapel to downtown starting at 11 AM.
