On behalf of our emergency shelter guests and staff, thank you for your donation to the New London Homeless Hospitality Center.

Thanks to faithful supporters like you, we can continue hosting an emergency shelter for our neighbors who have become homeless and provide our staff with a Flexible Spending Fund to help guests solve the financial problems that stand in the way of securing housing quickly.

Your support allows us to help neighbors like Virginia. At 76 years old, Virginia became homeless when she could no longer pay her rent of $950 with her social security income of $1,100. Virginia stayed in her car for only one night before she found the emergency shelter, where her basic needs were met. At the same time, she worked with dedicated staff and programs to secure an apartment that is affordable to her. After 90 days in the shelter recovering from illness and looking for apartments, she moved home. “Everything about this place is like a big hug,” said Virginia. “They completely changed my life.”
