NVFS’ Back2School Drive helps students across Northern Virginia start the school year prepared and confident by providing brand-new backpacks filled with the supplies required for their school and grade level. This year, we are preparing to support more than 1,500 students across the region, and we need your help to make it happen.

For many families already balancing the rising costs of housing, food, transportation, and childcare, purchasing school supplies can create an additional financial strain. A new backpack and the right supplies may seem simple, but they can make a meaningful difference in helping a student feel ready to learn, participate, and start the year on equal footing with their classmates.

Financial donations allow NVFS to stretch every dollar through bulk and wholesale purchasing, helping us provide more students with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. With your support, students across our community can walk into school feeling prepared, included, and ready for the year ahead.
