Bombs & Bullseyes is our all-star hitting derby that blends power and precision. Swing for the fences, drop a ball in the bucket, or thread it through the hoop to rack up points. With Warrior Balls in play, every swing brings big drama and double-point excitement! We will host an adult and a kid division of this competition.

COMPETITION DETAILS

Times & Location

• Location: Field 3 - fence distance is 200 ft.  

• Start Time: 2:00 PM 

Equipment

• Adult: 14-inch Clincher (non-mush)

• Kids: Boom Ball (plastic high-bounce ball)

🎯 Format

• Two Rounds + Final

• Round 1: All participants get 10 swings

• Round 2 - Semifinals: Top 4 scorers advance.

• Round 3 - Finals: Top 2 hitters face off for the championship.

• Participants get 10 swings in each round.

• Participants get 1 Money Ball in each round

• Participants get 1 dizzy swing at the end of each round - 5 spins around the bat & off the tee

🏏 Scoring

• Over Fence: 2 points

• Off the Bucket: 3 pts

• In the Hoop: 4 pts

• Warrior Ball (1 per round): Special colored ball, counts for double points  

⚡ Rules of Play

• Each hitter has their choice of pitcher (volunteer, teammate, or event staff).

• Swings must be in continuous sequence (no stepping out more than 10 seconds).

• Foul balls count as swings.

• Batter will continue hitting if HR on 10th swing - until batter swings and misses HR 

• Ties are broken with a 5-swing swing-off.

• Money ball will be the last pitch of the round - unless batter hits HR on money ball

• Individual Entry: $25 per person

• Team Sponsorship Entry: Sponsors of $1K and up can entry a contestant

⏰ Timing & Management

• Runs on a field 3 during afternoon games - will need to account for game conflicts.

• Each participant takes 5–10 minutes max.

• Volunteers keep scorecards for accuracy.

• Volunteers in the field to gather and return balls
