One Summer Day supporting C U At Home
One Summer Day

About One Summer Day

Host a garage sale this summer and donate some or all of the proceeds to help support C-U at Home’s Pathways to Progress program.

There are several ways to participate in One Summer Day!

1. Hold a garage sale with family and friends at your home.

2. Host a congregation-wide garage sale at your church.

3. Collaborate with colleagues from work or civic organizations.

Participants can register as individuals or as a team. Be sure to provide the date(s) for your garage sale. Once your sale is completed, return to your page to make your secure online donation!

Your event will be promoted on our website and Facebook page. A yard sign and an informational handout about C U at Home’s Pathways to Progress will be provided at your event.

Why Participate?

C-U at Home helps individuals who are ready to take steps out of homelessness move toward a healthy, whole, and independent future. Pathways to Progress is a 12-18 month program that includes intensive case-management support, assistance connecting with community resources for help with addition recovery and mental/physical health needs, life skills development, and housing navigation. These services are provided in a home-based, supportive living environment.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Since its inception, C-U at Home has played a crucial role in providing a supportive environment for individuals experiencing homelessness or transitioning from substance abuse recovery programs or incarceration. We operate residential shelters for men and women (capacity 8 each) along with several other smaller "advanced shelter" residences where clients experience more independence within a structure of accountability. Altogether, we serve around two dozen individuals at any given time.

Thank you for your support!
