I welcome you to join the 2026 Paddle for Progress on Wickford Harbor on September 20!

Together we can raise awareness and funds for breast cancer prevention, early detection, precision treatment and cure! 100% of Paddle for Progress funds are directed to research and survivorship for the people of Rhode Island!

I have had the honor and privilege to care for women and men with a diagnosis of Breast Cancer in Rhode Island for more than 25 years. During this time every aspect of breast cancer care from diagnosis through treatment has undergone positive gains! We can now apply cancer prevention, early detection and tailor treatment to an individual cancer for a precision treatment plan. The spectacular advances in personalized cancer medicine is based on research trials conducted across the world, including in Rhode Island!
