You will see Paddle for Progress RI signs directing you to the kayak launch area. There will be plenty of parking and enthusiastic people to help you unload your watercraft and get organized. We will have some light refreshments for paddlers and spectators and the chance to meet and greet and take a few photos. Please stop by the welcome tent as soon as you arrive to check-in.

Paddlers, our paddling route: This will be a gentle 2-mile paddle in Wickford Harbor, beginning at a small beach at Gardner’s Wharf, 170 Main Street, North Kingstown. We will paddle around two small picturesque inner harbor islands, Rabbit, and Cornelius crossing the boat channel with the support of the North Kingstown Harbormaster and others. We will take a brief water break and then return to the launch point where our paddling adventure will conclude.
Viewers and fans, we’re looking forward to seeing you: If you are coming to view the event and cheer on the participants, you can do this from the launch area at Gardner’s Wharf, 170 Main Street, North Kingstown. There is a public parking area at the end of Main Street. This promises to be a great sight, for a great cause and a celebration of Dr. Theresa Graves – 40 years in medicine!
Thank you again for your support!
