Lead the way as a sponsor for Rise Together 2024!
Thank you to our current Rise Together 2024 sponsors...
Everyone knows someone.
Domestic, dating and sexual violence happens here, and it happens a lot. It can happen to anyone. Whether you realize it or not, everyone knows someone.
Since COVID-19 erupted in 2020, calls to EFC’s hotline increased over 300% and the numbers are still rising.
The good news is that people are calling – and that’s in large part because you are spreading the word. Yet with this huge increase, we are stretched to the bone.
Determination, passion, and your support keep us going, but extraordinary need calls for extraordinary action.
Last year, alongside elected leaders, our community partners (including the NAACP - Berkshires, Berkshire Pride, and Berkshire Immigrant Center), and supporters like YOU, we took to the streets united to stop the violence and raised over $115k for Elizabeth Freeman Center!
Rise Together involves a three month press and social media campaign. It will culminate in September with six community walks – in Williamstown, North Adams, Pittsfield, Lenox, Lee, and Great Barrington.
As a sponsor, you send a strong message to Berkshire County that you RISE TOGETHER with your community for a violence-free future where all people can live with safety, justice, and dignity.
$500 supports 10 hours of our LGBTQ Access Project services.
$1,000 helps sustain one month of after-hours coverage for our 24/7 hotline, so that no one’s call for help goes unanswered.
$2,500 supports 50 hours of specialized child counseling and supports for children who suffered or witnessed violence in their homes.
$5,000 supports a week of our SAFEPLAN services to help survivors obtain protection orders in four county courts.
$10,000 provides full Money School services with workshops and individual supports for 10 survivors seeking safety and financial independence.
