Can I walk or run the, 10K, 5k 1k?
You may walk or run either event, as long as you have completed it within 2 hours. Is there a rain date?
We run rain or shine! Kids Dash Details: Registration can be done at packet pick up or the day of the race
2- 6-year-olds (parents can run along)

Children must pre-register for free babysitting or be with one parent

Yes. Will the course be adequately marked?
Yes. Will there be Port–O-Potties on the course?
Yes! We'll have a few along the course. Please use only those designated facilities and refrain from disturbing private property.
The run begins and ends at the Riverdale Y. We have restrooms on all four floors of the building for you to use before and after the run. Will the 10k, 5K, 1k, start at the same time?
10K begins at 8:00 am
5K begins at 8:05 am
5k family (stroller) begins at 8:10 am
1k 8:15 am
Will there be a timing system?
Yes, AREEP Services will be doing our electronic timing.
What are the ages of participation?
Toddler Dash: 6 and under

Thursday May, 16th 5 pm-9 pm. At Riverdale Y (5625 Arlington Ave Bronx NY 10471) Pre-registered runners ONLY.
Friday, May 17th, 12 pm - 6 pm At Riverdale Y (5625 Arlington Ave Bronx NY 10471) Pre-registered runners ONLY.
Sunday, May 19th, 2019 (Day of Race) number and shirt pick up at the Y begins at 6:15 am and closes at 7:30 am sharp to allow runs to begin on time (please bring photo ID)
Day-of registration at the Y begins 7:15 am & closes at 8:30 am sharp. (we cannot guarantee a race shirt).
Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Will there be a bag check?
Yes, in our front parking lot; if it rains, in the Y lobby
Will there be parking available? We have a few spaces at SAR high school. Located at 503 W 259th St, The Bronx, NY 10471
Is mass transit available?
From NYC, #1 train to West 231 Street and Broadway, then take northbound Bx7 or Bx10 bus to West 256 Street and Riverdale Avenue. MetroNorth Hudson line runs regular trains to the Riverdale Station
Will there be fluids on the course? At the finish?
There will be tables set up with water for the 5K, and four additional electrolyte replacement/water stations on the 10K course
There will be plenty fluids at the Y hub
Will there be medical assistance?
Yes, paramedics will be near the finish line, and there will be basic first aid supplies at water stations
Can I run with music, or baby stroller or jogger?
We strongly discourage headphones, iPod, etc.
Dogs allowed for 5K run only
We advise that the course is exceptionally challenging for strollers/joggers (please stay to the back if you wish to bring your strollers)
Will there be an award ceremony? (Chip time)
We will have awards for the top 5 male and female overall (½ Marathon, 10K and 5K).
Awards will be presented 90- 120 minutes after the start of all races
Light breakfast and snacks, water & electrolytes will be provided during the award ceremony
Beer Garden sponsored by Bronx Ale House, & music afterward
Will there be access to The Y on Race day?
Yes…It's an Open House to all runners on Sunday. Show your membership card or bib number to have access to our facilities

We'd LOVE to have you, volunteer! We need volunteers at our fluid stations, the race central, on the field of course marshals, and lots of cheerleaders!
