What is Red Shoe Crew?
Red Shoe Crew is a group of caring, civic-minded professionals and individuals who seek to participate in philanthropic and leadership endeavors while advocating and fundraising for RMHC of the Southwest. Red Shoe Crew Members are champions for RMHC and our mission of "Keeping families close", and will engage with businesses, their seeds of influence, and community members to raise funds while advocating for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.
What is the purpose of Red Shoe Crew?
Red Shoe Crew is an annual campaign for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest that has collective campaign goal of $50,000 and an individual campaign goal of $5,000. Red Shoe Crew Members will work together collectively and individually towards this goal from April through August. Red Shoe Crew Members are volunteers of RMHC of the Southwest and will support the organization through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteering. Each member will be provided with support and resources to enhance their fundraising experience and develop a "Champion" mindset for RMHC of the Southwest.

How Your Support Makes a Difference
Our Programs
We believe in supporting families around the world and helping them access the medical care and resources they need. Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest has two core programs:
The Ronald McDonald House Program is a home away from home that provides comfort, support, and resources to families who travel far from home for the medical care their child needs. In 2022, RMHC of the Southwest served over 400+ families. Families are never charged while they stay at the House and can stay for as long as they need.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room Program provides comfort to families right in the hospital, giving them a private place to relax or decompress. RMHC of the Southwest has 4 family rooms located at University Medical Center and Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX, Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX, and Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX and has served over 1800+ families throughout 2022.

Who We Serve
Although we serve families from across the country and around the world, our primary areas of service include Lubbock and the South Plains, the Permian Basin, the Big Country, the Concho Valley, and Southeastern New Mexico. We have direct responsibilities in 68 counties, which equates to 26% of the state of Texas.
