Why Walk? 

Walking is an exercise made for everyone! Walk at your own pace, where you want, and when you want all while completing our challenges.  

WALKING INCREASES YOUR METABOLIC RATE, IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEART, AND BOOSTS YOUR MEMORY! 

Where to Walk? 

Saratoga Springs area has an array of trails, look below to find one near you! 

WALKING TRAILS: 

  • Congress Park Loop (0.9 miles)  

  • Saratoga Greenbelt Trail (24- miles) 

  • Hemlock Trail (Blue Markers- 1.1 miles) 

  • Rowland Hollow Creek Preserve  

  • Woods Hollow Nature Preserve  

  • Skidmore North Woods

STARTING POINT: SARATOGA SPA STATE PARK 

  • Saratoga Spa State Park to Skidmore College: 2.4 miles 

  • Saratoga Spa State Park to Congress Park: 1.2 miles 

  • Saratoga Spa State Park to Saratoga Springs City Center: 1.6 miles 

STARTING POINT: SARATOGA RACE COURSE  

  • Saratoga Race Course to Saratoga Automobile Museum (via Lincoln Ave and Ballston Ave): 2.5 miles 

  • Saratoga Race Course to ATC Downtown Saratoga: 1.3 miles 

  • Saratoga Race Course to Skidmore College: 1.9 miles
