For over 30 years, the Helpline Center has been South Dakota's leader for suicide prevention and aftercare services.  By stepping forward, your participation will help support the Helpline Center's suicide prevention trainings and grief support services for survivors.

If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, the Helpline Center's trained staff is available through our suicide and crisis lifeline at 988 all day, every day.  ​

During the Step Forward to Prevent Suicide event on June 8, a beloved tradition is a remembrance ceremony where we will read the names of loved ones lost by suicide.
