Surf Gidget The Pug is a world champion surf dog that has been surfing since 2015. Gidget uses her social media platform to raise awareness for certain causes she is passionate about. Gidget has supported and surfed with young adaptive athletes that are living with mental & physical disabilities.
When Gidget surfs at competitions her registration fees also go to animals in need.
Gidget's mission in her little pug life is to raise awareness against human trafficking and help stop the sexual exploitation of children. With the help of her "Pug Army" Gidget is ready to take on her mission.
Gidget's foundation, Surf Gidget The Pug Healing Hearts Foundation raises awareness and finds new homes for abandoned pets and unites them with abused and trafficked children. Gidget has donated her lifetime to charities, supporting children's disabled surf therapy programs and currently Belinda Carlisle's foundation "Animal People Alliance" and partner with Stop Walk Traffic San Diego. She & her mom have had the opportunity to rescue, train and re home abandoned dogs in her pug lifetime and now its time to help abandoned pets and children unite.
Her legacy in life is raising awareness for abandoned pets & abused children. Her calling is to find new homes for rescued pets and placing them in new homes with rehabilitated abused or trafficked children. Bringing the two abandoned and abused hearts together as one her legacy can live on to make the world a better place for humanity.
