TD StairClimb for United Way

25 years of Stepping Up for our community

TD StairClimb for United Way is an annual, community-wide fundraising event to raise dollars and awareness of local issues hurting people living in our region – our families, friends, neighbours and colleagues. COVID-19 continues to impact members of our community. Local people are struggling to meet basics needs as demand for social services continues to grow. As we start to recover, many of our neighbours need us now more than ever before.

Join the recovery with us as we come together virtually and Step Up for our community. Due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, TD StairClimb for United Way is entirely virtual again this year. But just because we can’t be together, doesn’t mean we can’t take a stand together for our neighbours in need.

Here’s the details:

When you register for the event, our online system will help you raise pledges while you collect points for activities like dollars raised, recruiting your friends, adding photos of past years climbs, recording fitness activity and more.

Your participation in TD StairClimb will help raise awareness of issues like poverty, mental health and intimate partner violence hurting our community.

Don’t forget to follow us @unitedwayemca and tag #TDBankStairClimb as you get ready for you TD StairClimb for United Way.

When you register your team, your registration confirmation will include a link to get your team signed up for a virtual step up class so you can all step up together, safely, on November 4. Each class will run 10-15 minutes and all routines will be aimed at beginners so everyone can be involved!

Your donation helps residents maintain mental wellbeing, social connection and safety. Last year, 25,790 residents said they felt less lonely and more connected to their community after participating in a United Way funded program.
