2021 Team Up for Tails Virtual Walk supporting Foothills Animal Rescue
About Team Up for Tails 2021
Foothills Animal Rescue's Team Up for Tails (TUFT) Virtual Walk will take place Saturday, May 1, 2021. Join animal lovers from across the Valley as they lace up their shoes, leash up their pets and walk to help homeless dogs and cats!
You choose the route, the distance and time you wish to walk. Grab friends, neighbors or co-workers and put together a TUFT team.
Be sure to take photos of you and your pet during your walk and share them on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #TeamUpForTails
With your $35 ticket purchase, you'll receive:
- Event T-shirt
- Event Bib
- Event Medal
Raise $50 and we'll throw in a bandana for your pup! PLUS, for every $50 you raise, you'll be entered into the drawing for our event prize package!

As a walker in our Team Up for Tails virtual walk, you have the power to change a life. Your support and the dollars you raise will benefit the dogs and cats in our care. Enrichment toys, games and activities reduce stress and keep our shelter pets mentally healthy while waiting for their adoptive families.

How Your Support Makes a Difference
Your participation in the Team Up for Tails Virtual Walk will help raise funds to support FAR's lifesaving adoption program. You are giving a second chance to shelter pets like Oliver. Found under a bush and brought to our Brynne Smith Memorial Campus with a mysterious gash on his head, the tiny kitten was sent to a foster home and has now found his forever family.
Your $35 registration fee provides two bags of high-quality kibble for the dogs and cats at our shelter. Some of the animals in our care are used to searching for and eating scraps of food off the streets. Now at FAR, they are fed a consistent and nutritious meal to help keep them healthy and happy.
