For anyone who reaches the $600 and $1,200 thresholds, we'll have wonderful incentive prizes for you, to recognize your hard work raising money for compassionate care! You will receive an email in mid-July congratulating you and letting you know which prizes you have earned. You will also be given the choice to “opt-out” of receiving these prizes and donating the cost back to Hospicare. These prizes will be dispersed at packet pick up in the week leading up to Swim Day. All donations made before Friday, August 7th at 5 p.m. will be counted towards prizes.
Every year the Women Swimmin' & Go the Distance for Hospicare Prize Committee (lead by longtime volunteer Laurie Damiani) works hard to gather prizes from around the community that are distributed to the following categories, be they Swimmers, Paddlers and Boaters, or Go the Distancers. These prizes are distributed during the closing ceremony on swim day, so be sure to stick around to celebrate these efforts!
