More than just a race, Woofstock is a community festival designed to bring people together while raising critical funds for homeless and vulnerable animals. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live entertainment, local vendors, family-friendly activities, food, games, and opportunities to connect with fellow animal lovers from across the region.

Every dollar raised through Woofstock helps the Humane Society of Carroll County provide shelter, medical care, enrichment, adoption services, and lifesaving support for animals in need. By participating in the event, you're already making a difference—but we hope you'll take your impact even further by helping us raise additional funds for the animals who rely on our care.

We encourage everyone to set a goal of raising at least $50 to support the animals of the Humane Society of Carroll County. A few small donations can quickly add up to make a meaningful difference, helping provide everything from daily meals and enrichment to medical treatment and adoption support.

Looking for an even bigger way to help? Become a Team Captain and recruit your own pack! Gather your friends, family members, coworkers, classmates, neighbors, or social groups and create a team to support the animals together. Team fundraising is a fun way to build camaraderie, inspire friendly competition, and amplify your impact. Whether your team consists of three people or thirty, you'll be helping more animals find safety, care, and loving homes.

We can't wait to celebrate with you and your pack at Woofstock!

Why Participate?

Because fun is better together! Choose the challenge of the 5K or enjoy a relaxed 1-Mile Leash-urely Walk with your family and furry friends.

By participating, you’re helping support the Humane Society’s mission of caring for animals in need, providing lifesaving services, and helping pets find loving homes. You can also join in on the fun by signing up for one of our many activities and making a day of it with your family, friends, and four-legged companions.

It’s a day to get active, connect with your community, and create memories with the people (and pets!) you love. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Run. Walk. Wag. Celebrate!

Bark Before the Park kicks off Woofstock with a special evening on the pavilion at Wakefield Valley Event Center bringing together those who believe in the power of lifesaving work.

Sponsors & Vendors Welcome too!

Join us in making this community celebration possible while showcasing your business or organization to a crowd of animal lovers and supporters. Sponsorship opportunities and vendor spaces are available for those who want to connect with the community, support our lifesaving mission, and be part of this exciting event. Learn more here.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Your participation helps make lifesaving work possible. Every year, the Humane Society of Carroll County must raise more than $1 million to support our mission and provide the care, resources, and services animals need.

Your support helps provide essential vaccines, spay/neuter services, urgent medical care, enrichment, training, and the programs that give animals the best chance at finding loving homes. Every mile walked, every step taken, and every person who joins us helps create more second chances for animals in our community.

Woofstock is more than just a race and walk—it's an opportunity to rally your friends, family, coworkers, and fellow animal lovers to make a real difference for homeless pets. Every participant will receive a personal fundraising page that can be easily shared with their network, making it simple to raise funds that directly support the animals cared for by the Humane Society of Carroll County.

We are asking every participant to take the Woofstock Pledge and raise at least $50 to support our mission. Every donation helps provide food, shelter, medical care, enrichment, and second chances for animals in need. To make fundraising even more rewarding, participants will earn prizes and special recognition as they reach fundraising milestones throughout the campaign.

Looking to make an even bigger impact? Consider becoming a Woofstock Team Captain! Team Captains help lead the fundraising effort by creating a team and inviting friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, classmates, or local organizations to join them. Building a team is a fun way to multiply your impact, create friendly competition, and work together toward a common goal of helping animals in need. Whether your team has three members or thirty, every person you recruit helps raise awareness and critical funds for the Humane Society.

Teams and individuals will be recognized for their fundraising achievements, and special prizes will be awarded at various fundraising levels. Gather your pack, set a goal, and help us make this year's Woofstock our most successful event yet!

Together, we can continue saving lives, strengthening the human-animal bond, and creating brighter futures for pets in need.

Thank you for your support!
