AIDS WALK Charlotte, in its 24th year, is one of the largest HIV awareness and fundraising events in the Carolinas. It is also Charlotte’s visual representation of the commitment and care we give to those living with HIV and those at risk. Strong and caring individuals will lace up their shoes to walk through the heart of uptown Charlotte to celebrate the past, present, and a HIV free future.
AIDS WALK Charlotte is a family affair (kids and pets are welcomed) and open to all who want to participate. The walk, a signature fundraising event for RAIN, is about 2 miles long and take the average person 30 minutes to complete.
RAIN is one of the largest HIV nonprofits in the Carolinas providing direct client services and is widely recognized for its unique model and expertise in working with persons living with HIV and AIDS.
MISSION: RAIN empowers persons living with HIV and those at risk to be healthy and stigma free.
VISION: RAIN envisions ending HIV in our community.
