AIDS WALK CHARLOTTE 2020

MATCH DAYS

Thanks to the generous and supportive corporate sponsors we are excited to launch Match Days!

How It Works:

On an assigned day, donations that you received at a predetermined amount will be matched by the sponsoring company.

Each Match Day is sponsored by a different company (see full list below).

When a donation is made on the specific day and amount to your fundraising page, the "match" will automatically be added to your page.

"Matches" are limited to the first 100 donations.

You’ve instantly doubled that gift and quickly increased your fundraising efforts

Stay tuned for more sponsors to be added along with everyone’s Match Day date! All this will be happening during the month of May.

Another Way To Look At It: Saturday, May 2 is Wells Fargo's match day and John Smith receives a $50 donation on his fundraising page. Automatically an additional $50 has been added to his page as a "matching gift" from Wells Fargo.

    Saturday, May 2

Wells Fargo will match the first 100 $50 gifts received on May 2. A donation of $50 provides one hour of counseling (virtually) to assist with the isolation and emotional challenges of living with HIV.

    Wednesday, May 6

Bank of America will match the first 100 $25 gifts received on May 6. A donation of $25 transports two clients to their PrEP appointment.

    Friday, May 15

Tito's Handmade Vodka will match the first 100 $30 gifts received on May 15. A donation of $30 allows a Medical Case Manager to reach out to a client and assess their needs such as food, rent and utility; along with possible needs for childcare, transportation, medical and mental health and make the appropriate referral.

    Wednesday, May 20

Ernst & Young will match the first 100 $10 gifts received on May 20. A donation of $10 allows one client to take public transportation (CATS bus) to their doctor's appointment.

    Tuesday, May 26

Janssen will match the first 100 $25 gifts received on May 26. A donation of $25 allows two clients to take a Lyft to get groceries or pick up their medications.
