OUR LEGACY: This event has so much empowerment and intent behind it. The women who walk the runway are brave and all have a story to tell. Take a moment to listen to our event roots (click here) and the unforgettable woman who started it all. Thank you to event sponsor and dear friends at Podcast Nation who produced this beautiful piece for us.
As we celebrate 16 years of Bras for a Cause, we remember the one who had the vision of raising $50,000 for Gilda's Club. The one who didn't let her diagnosis get her down, instead looked to inspire and leave a legacy that would empower those with cancer to come.
Today this event has raised more than one million dollars for Gilda's Club. We can't help but think Shannon is smiling down on all of us.
Enjoy this video from our 10th anniversary of Bras for a Cause - it captures so much of who Shannon was.
