For more than a decade, thousands of families, friends and community members have come together to support loved ones and further the life-saving mission of Norton Cancer Institute.

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and being sensitive to the many participants and supporters who may be at higher risk for COVID-19, we are challenged with preparing alternate arrangements for this year’s ride.

This year, we will be offering the opportunity for participants to ride together in spirit as we come together for one cause—to beat cancer! Participants can choose to ride from home, the gym, your neighborhood or with one of four, fully-marked routes throughout Greater Louisville.

Funds raised through Bike to Beat Cancer stay right here in our community to help patients of Norton Cancer Institute and Norton Children’s Cancer Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. One hundred percent of funds raised by riders go directly to support our mission to cure cancer and eliminate suffering.

With these necessary changes, we appreciate your understanding and support. The importance of raising funds for Norton Cancer Institute to support the health care needs of our patients and community is certainly magnified during such times as these.
