Route Information
For the safety of our riders, volunteers, and supporters, we will be asking riders to cycle on your own (but together in spirit!). Participants can choose to complete your miles from home, the gym, your neighborhood or one of four fully-marked routes throughout Greater Louisville. The fully-marked routes will be located in Southern Indiana, Cherokee/Seneca Park, Middletown-Mile of Silence, and East Louisville and will be available for you to complete on your own on Saturday, September 12. Due to limited resources and for the safety of our riders, provided routes will be shorter distance options that can be done multiple times or extended to fulfill rider mileage goals. Route details can be found below.
IMPORTANT ROUTE SAFETY NOTE: Due to the nature of this year's ride, all routes will be self-supported with the exception of one Fuel Stop on each route that will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will not be support provided from LMPD, BikeTech, Rider Support or a Safety Team. Riders should inform a family member or friend about their participation in case you need assistance. In case of true emergency, riders are asked to call 9-1-1.
Along each route, there will be one “Fuel Stop” that will include pre-packaged snacks, hydration and the opportunity to win exciting prizes and giveaways. Riders must be wearing a Bike to Beat Cancer t-shirt/jersey or show their rider license plate to be eligible to participate in Fuel Stop activities.
The routes will be marked from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fuel Stops will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
