How do I participate in Bounce Back from Cancer™?
- Choose a game plan option. Join or start a team. Registration is anticipated to sell out. The sooner you register the better! Click here to download the Teams & Participant Guide.
- Fundraise. When registering for Bounce Back from Cancer™, participants are committing to a fundraising minimum. Fundraising commitments vary, but registrants have until March 31, 2025 to meet or exceed their fundraising minimum.
- Personalize your fundraising page and share with your family and friends to begin fundraising right away! The sooner you start, the more money you will raise. There are a variety of Bounce Back from Cancer™ tools to help you meet your goal.
- If you were a fundraiser last year, please don’t forget to thank your past supporters.
- Please begin recruiting your teams - let’s get off to a fast start!
- Encourage members of your organization to join us, register and fundraise.
- Reach out to a few colleagues at other organizations to encourage their participation.
- Share your fundraising page on your social media accounts.
What does it cost to participate?
- 14.2-mile $75 registration + $500 required fundraising minimum
- 6-mile $65 registration + $300 required fundraising minimum
- 2-mile $55 registration + $150 required fundraising minimum
- Student (18 and under) $55 + no required fundraising minimum
What happens is if I do not reach my fundraising minimum?
- When registering for Bounce Back from Cancer™, participants are committing to a fundraising minimum. Fundraising commitments vary, but registrants have until March 31, 2025 to meet or exceed their fundraising minimum.
When does registration close?
- Registration is anticipated to sell out. The sooner you register the better! There are limited registrations available: 450 for the 14.2-mile course, 450 for the 6-mile course, and 600 for the 2-mile course. Registration will close on Friday, March 7, 2025.
How do I create a fundraising page?
- This is built for you automatically when you register as a participant for the event.
Will you provide me with an email template to help me fundraise?
- Template with sample graphics and suggested copy can be found our website under the Resources Tab.
How can I contribute if I don’t walk or dribble?
- If you cannot make it out to the event, then you can register as a Cheerleader and just fundraise to help us build a world without cancer.
My employer is paying our team members’ entry fees. How do I set up my team’s payment method?

My company would like to become a sponsor. What opportunities are available?
- Sponsorships are critical to our success, with opportunities available to fit nearly any company and budget. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, contact Events@BaptistHealth.net.
Is my entry fee tax deductible?
- Although your support is needed for us to continue the fight against cancer, and very much appreciated, the registration fee is not tax deductible, as regulations regarding an event where goods and services are provided prohibit tax deductions. The cost of goods and services is $50 per registrant.
Can I donate without participating?
- Yes! Just click the DONATE button on our website.
Can I make my donation with a check?

Is my donation tax deductible?
- Yes, if you made a donation in addition or besides registering, the donation is tax deductible. Speak with your tax advisor.
Is Miami Cancer Institute a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization?
- Yes, Baptist Health Miami Cancer institute is part of Baptist Health South Florida, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
Where and when can I pick up my Bounce Back event packet?
- Bounce Back packet pickup is available at the following locations and times:

Where do I park on Saturday, March 16?
- Parking information for each course will be provided closer to the event.
How do I get back to my car?
- More information coming soon.
Can my family meet me at the arena?
- Yes, your family is welcome to join you at the arena! Spectator Admission for non-registrants is $10, and children under the age of 6 years old can attend for free. Spectator Admission Tickets will go on sale the first week of March.
Can I bring my dog?
- Animals are not permitted at Kaseya Center, with the exception of trained service animals.
Can I fundraise beyond March 15?
- Yes, fundraising will remain open until March 31, 2025.
Will my information be shared with anyone?
- Your information is safe! Donor information will not be sold to third parties, but may be used by Run the City, Bounce Back from Cancer™, Baptist Health Foundation and/or Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute for direct communication purposes.

Other Information
Photography and videotaping taken during this event may be used by Baptist Health Foundation for future publicity, collateral and advertising materials. Your attendance at this event authorizes the disclosure of your identity and releases Baptist Health and Baptist Health Foundation from all liability in connections with the above.
