2024 Dreams Come True 5K

Step back into the 80's on September 21, 2024! 

This 7th annual event offers three exciting experiences in one unforgettable day: the 5K Walk, Run, or Roll presented by TOTE, the one-mile Dash for Dreams, and the family-centric Dreamfest awaiting just beyond the finish line. In honor of Dreams Come True's remarkable 40-year journey, this year's event is a vibrant tribute to the iconic 80's era! Get ready for a blast from the past as we celebrate four decades of making dreams a reality. Be on the lookout for surprise guest appearances sprinkled throughout the course and festivities. Join us for an epic celebration of dreams, nostalgia, and community!

Dreams Come True is the First Coast’s ONLY locally-based dream granting organization dedicated to using the power of a dream to bring hope and joy to EVERY First Coast child battling a life-threatening medical condition. Since 1984, we have fulfilled the dreams of more than 4,600 children. No child is ever denied a dream and no child is ever placed on a waiting list.

In addition to granting children’s dreams, Dreams Come True supports Dreamers and their families during their entire medical journey through the Special Times program. Special Times include treatment milestone celebrations, back-to-school supplies, holiday support, special events, concerts, meals, and even college scholarships for dreamers and their siblings. You are invited to participate in one of those special times during our Dreamfest which was developed with our dreamers in mind, but open to our community!

Pre-Registration Deadline

Friday, September 20, 2024 by 9 am is the last day to pre-register. 

If you miss the chance to pre-register, we still invite you to join us. Walk ups are welcome and you can register on Saturday morning at registration beginning at 7 am.  Please note t-shirt availability for walk up participants will be limited.

All race packets not picked up from the First Place Sports location you chose at registration on Friday, September 20 will be available on Saturday, September 21 at UNF at the registration table beginning at 7 am.
