Dreams Come True 5K supporting Dreams Come True of Jacksonville

This 6th annual event is three events in one including the 5K Walk, Run or Roll presented by TOTE, a one mile Dash for Dreams and the family-centric Chick-fil-A Dreamfest just beyond the finish line. This year's event is themed with one of our most popular dreams: CRUISES. Expect some special guest appearances throughout the course and the event.
Dreams Come True is the First Coast’s ONLY locally-based dream granting organization dedicated to using the power of a dream to bring hope and joy to EVERY First Coast child battling a life-threatening medical condition. Since 1984, we have fulfilled the dreams of more than 4,600 children. No child is ever denied a dream and no child is ever placed on a waiting list.
In addition to granting children’s dreams, Dreams Come True supports Dreamers and their families during their entire medical journey through the Special Times program. Special Times include treatment milestone celebrations, back-to-school supplies, holiday support, special events, concerts, meals, and even college scholarships for dreamers and their siblings. You are invited to participate in one of those special times the Chick-fil-A Dreamfest – developed with our dreamers in mind, but open to our community!

Anyone who meets Rue knows that she is a spunky little girl. Full of energy and always positive, she amazes many with her attitude even as she battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
After her diagnosis, there were many times Rue could not go to school or be with her friends because of her condition. When it was time to figure out the perfect dream for Rue, there was no hesitation that she needed a special friend to help her through some very daunting times.
“Bolt is the best dog ever! We cannot thank Dreams Come True enough for making this dream happen for Rue! Bolt brought so much joy to this house! We love you guys."
- Casey Cohen, Rue’s mother.
