The Hats On For Healthcare campaign, now in its 17th year, has become a vital fundraising pillar, raising over $700,000 to date for hospital programs. For 2026, the campaign goal is $100,000. These fundraising efforts will not only provide immediate equipment and technology support, but also contribute to the long-term vision of the new Fancsy Family Hospital, where community philanthropy is covering critical components of the state-of-the-art facility.

Donations to Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation can be dedicated to specific programs or services that align with your personal passions. 

• Clinical Programs: Oncology (Cancer) Fund, Cardiac Care (including the Cath Lab), Renal Dialysis, and Mental Health.
• Specialized Units: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Paediatrics, and the Family Birthing Centre.
• Emergency & Surgical Services: Emergency Departments at both Met and Ouellette campuses, ICU, and specific Surgical Programs.
• Infrastructure & Innovation: Diagnostic Imaging (CT and MRI), the New Acute Care Hospital Equipment Fund, and Medical Research. 

• Cardiology Advances: 2025 funds from "Hats On" supported the creation of a second cardiac catheterization lab to improve local access to heart procedures.
• Essential Equipment: Donations through initiatives like the Foundation Lottery fund "critical" needs, including IV pumps, vital signs monitors, and crash carts.
• Long-Term Infrastructure: Philanthropic gifts, such as the record-breaking $40 million Fancsy family donation in 2025, are instrumental in realizing the new acute care hospital project.
• Specialized Care: Contributions support a wide range of departments, including the NICU, mental health, and the Cancer Program.
