Join this fun and challenging charity golf event that raises support for hospice care in the Tri-Valley and adjacent East Bay cities. You’ll be among an exclusive group of golfers who take on this unique feat at Castlewood Country Club’s beautiful Valley Course. If 100 holes feels too daunting, you may split the challenge among friends or consider our new half-day skills challenge instead. Proceeds support Hope Hospice’s patient-care services and help keep grief support, dementia-care education, and family caregiver resources available at no cost. Community donations help Hope care for 2,000 individuals each year.

Two Ways to Play 

Option 1: Play the traditional 100 holes 

We start at sunrise, and the event has a quick pace of play. No practice swings — just drop your ball and play. Most people complete 18 holes every two hours to finish by the 5 p.m. cutoff. Each player drives his or her own cart, and we play in twosomes (we'll pair you up). 

You may register as an individual and attempt the 100 holes on your own; or, split the challenge among friends and each takes on the number of holes they're comfortable with. Your registration is a display of your intent to raise a minimum of $2,500 in support toward Hope’s mission of care and service to our community. Your green fees, cart rental, three meals, and course beverages are all covered by your registration fee. Pay up front, or use your personal fundraising page on this event website to raise funds to cover your registration fee and beyond. 

Option 2: Enter the Steve Thompson Skills Challenge 

A new half-day addition to the Hope 100, the skills challenge runs concurrent to the marathon and offers a chance to compete for prizes and bragging rights in a series of 10 trials. 

Register a foursome for $2,000 total; or, sign up as a single for $500 and we’ll pair you up. Pay up front, or use your personal fundraising page on this event website to raise funds to cover your registration fee and beyond.
