NOTE: The Scheduled Missions Calendar is not a comprehensive list of Missions, but is an outline of the Missions that have a limited time to complete. Use it to plan your HUNT schedule and maximize your fundraising bonus points! More Scheduled Missions may be added in the coming weeks, so check back as we get closer to THE HUNT.

Practice Missions: March 10th - April 28th

Practice Missions are optional, and allow HUNTers to warm up and practice prior to THE HUNT while they get to know the GooseChase app. No points will be awarded.

Early Bird Missions: March 10th - April 28th

Early Bird Missions will be on GooseChase prior to the start of THE HUNT. They are eligible for points, and include things like fundraising, recruiting team members to join the HUNT, and stopping by our materials pick-up.

Materials Pick-Up: Wednesday, April 26th and Thursday, April 27th

--Wednesday, April 26th, 12:00-1:00 pm and 4:30-6:00 pm

Stop by our office (2059 Atwood Avenue in the United Way Building) and pick up your team’s T-shirts and materials. Not only will you receive 20 points, but you’ll also receive some other goodies to help you on THE HUNT.

THE HUNT Begins: Friday, April 28th at 4:00pm

Dozens of Missions will drop this afternoon, with more to come over the next three weeks. Get going and start earning points! Not sure where to start? Check out the Core Missions, which include 20 Missions that give you a taste of what you can expect on THE HUNT. 

Fundraising Challenge: $100 for 100 Points - Monday, May 1st

Give your team a great kick start on the leaderboard by earning these one-day-only bonus points! Raise at least $100 on Monday, May 1st, and get 100 bonus points on top of your regular fundraising points (only donations received on May 1st will count towards the $100 total).

Special Event: Flannel Jax’s - Wednesday, May 3rd

Unleash your inner Lumberjack at Flannel Jax’s (6704 Watts Road) on Wednesday, May 3rd from 6-8PM. Come dressed in your best lumberjack wear and take a photo in the photo booth to earn points. For folks who want to try axe throwing at the event, you can sign up online to participate. As a part of this BBBS HUNT event you will receive a 50% discount. Sign up and fill out a waiver ahead of time if interested. (NOTE: there are no bonus points for axe throwing–it’s just available at a discounted rate on May 3rd for folks who are interested.) 

Special Event: UW Softball game- Friday, May 5th

Tickets to the University of Wisconsin vs. the University of Iowa softball games are in your goodie bag. Attend the game for FREE and earn points for scavenger HUNT Missions.  UW Athletics will also be passing out free books to kids in 6th grade and younger for the Book It With Bucky Celebration. (Here's a tip--chip away at your UW BINGO Card and other campus Missions while you're in the area!)

Golden Pin Mission #1: Friday-Sunday, May 5th-7th

These Missions are more challenging–your team will need to solve a clue to find the Golden Pin (it’s a bowling pin!) and earn 50 points. Can’t find the Pin but know you’re in the right spot? Submit a photo from your location and you can still earn partial credit. Golden Pin Missions are available Friday evening to Sunday evening.

Fundraising Challenge: Two-for-One Tuesday - Tuesday, May 9th

Standard fundraising points are 25 points for every $100 raised. But on May 9th, we’re offering two-for-one points! For every $100 raised on May 9th, you earn 50 points instead of 25. Today is the day to hit your fundraising goals and double your points! 

Special Event: Barre District Madison at Breese Stevens Field - Wednesday, May 10th 

Join us for a Barre class at Breese Stevens Field on Wednesday, May 10th from 5:30-6:30PM, hosted by Barre District Madison. Registration is free, but donations to BBBS are encouraged. The class is open to the general public, so feel free to invite a non-HUNTer to join in (and maybe even make a donation!). Class SIGN UP link here

BBBS Info Session (Zoom): Learn More about Being a Big - Tuesday, May 16th

Join us on Tuesday, May 16th from 6:00-6:30PM for a virtual information session about being a Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple, or Big Family. There’s no obligation to sign-up as a volunteer–just tune in and earn 25 points as you learn more about our program! Can’t attend? Recruit a friend to participate and you can still earn the points! (Already a Big and don't need this information? Complete the "For Bigs Only Mission": Write a sentence or two about how being a Big has shaped your life and why others should sign up to be a Big)

Fundraising Challenge: More Donors, More Points - Wednesday, May 17th

For every individual person who donates a minimum of $5 to your team on May 17th, you can earn 10 bonus points–the sky's the limit! (1 donor=10 points, 5 donors=50 points, 10 donors=100 points, etc.) You will also still receive the regular 25 points for every $100 raised and 50 points for every $500 raised, so today is the day to get those final donations and rake in the points!

Special Event: Free Coffee Friday at BBBS - Friday, May 19th

On Friday, May 19th from 7:45-9:45 AM, you can stop by the parking lot outside the BBBS office (2059 Atwood Avenue) and enjoy a coffee and/or pastry on us! Not only will you be able to earn points for completing this Special Event Mission, but you can also complete other Missions like finding another team on THE HUNT, taking a selfie with Tracy Anderson (our Community Outreach & Volunteer Manager), plus other Missions in the area.
