I strongly believe in LifeSpan Resources mission of helping match resources to those in need and helping the elderly remain independent as long as possible.
James is the Floyd County Assessor as well as finishing up his career with the Jefferson County Public Schools as a Science and Computer Teacher. An Army Brat he grew up in Tokyo Japan, Fort Ord California, West Point New York and Belin Germany. He did graduate locally, at Seneca High School and earned a degree from Bellarmine in Science, a Masters of Teaching from Spalding and a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of Louisville. Along the way, James is also an Army Veteran and was proud to serve. When not working, James loves world travel, riding motorcycles and Wine Vacations in Sonoma/Napa and Woodinville Washington.
When it comes to music, James says he pretty muck likes everything; from Country, to Rock but is partial to Standards and The American Songbook. James says there was always music laying where he was growing up. Hi Dad had a nice stereo where he heard everything from Japanese Pop, Russian Folk songs and a lot Burt Bacharach and Dion Warrick. To add to the mix, James says his Grandmother taught piano, so there was often classical music played at her house.
When asked why he agreed to perform at Voice and Vino, James stated that Lora Clark and his friend Doug Drake asked him and since he strongly believes in LifeSpan Resources' mission in helping the elderly remain independent as long as possible, he couldn’t resist.
