Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are critical to the success of our event. We're offering a range of volunteer opportunities to give you plenty of ways you can get involved and show your support!

VIP/Media Night - Check-In - Friday, June 3, 2022

• 3pm - 5pm
• Set up check-in table (swag bags, t-shirts, pens, extra waivers, etc.
• Check in VIP rappelers
• Verify and collect completed waivers 
• Hand out wristbands (rappelers only)
• Clean up check-in area when all rappelers are checked-in

VIP/Media Night - Set-Up - Friday, June 3, 2022

• 2pm - 4pm
• Make sure road closure apparatuses are in the right place
• Set up tables, chairs, and canopies
• Make sure directional/informational signage is out and accurate
• Put out garbage cans

VIP/Media Night - Tear Down - Friday, June 3, 2022

• 5pm - 7pm
• Put away chairs, tables, canopies, and garbage cans
• Put away directional/informational signage
• Move road closure apparatuses and lock port-a-potties
• Make sure items are stored for easy set-up the next morning

VIP/Media Night - First Aid - Friday, June 3, 2022

• 4pm - 7pm
• CPR/FA certification must be up-to-date
• First Aide kit provided by GSNI

VIP/Media Night - Floater - Friday, June 3, 2022

• 4pm - 7pm
• Help where needed
• May be asked to get ice, water, or other necessities

Event Day Check-In - Saturday, June 4, 2022

• 1st shift & 2nd shift
• Set up check-in table (swag bags, t-shirts, pens, extra waivers, etc.)
• Check in rappelers
• Verify and collect completed waivers
• Hand out wristbands (rappelers only)
• Smile, be friendly! Rappelers have worked hard to raise their minimums, and they may be nervous about rappelling. You are the first person they see, so please be warm and reassuring.

Event Day Set-Up - Saturday, June 4, 2022

• 8am - 11am
• Set up road closure
• Unlock port-a-potties
• Set up tables, chairs, and canopies
• Help vendors unload
• Put out directional/information signage
• Put out garbage cans

Event Day First Aid - Saturday, June 4, 2022

• 9am - 4pm
• CPR/FA certification must be up-to-date
• First Aide kit provided by GSNI
  
• Lunch provided

Event Day - Tear Down - Saturday, June 4, 2022

• 3pm - 5pm
• Put away chairs, tables, canopies, and garbage cans
• Take down directional/informational signage
• Move road closure apparatuses and lock port-a-potties
• Help vendors close their booths and load their items

Event Day - Floater - Saturday, June 4, 2022

• Any time between 8am - 5pm
• Help where needed
• May be asked to get ice, water, or other necessities
