Fundraising Tips

1. Tell them why YOU are going Over the Edge! Yes, your donors want to know WHY YOU are rappelling for Girl Scouts. Tell your Girl Scout story!

2.  Ask! It may be uncomfortable, at first, but people won't give unless they've been asked.

3. Share, share, share! Sharing your fundraising page on all your social media platforms is the best way to connect with your future supporters. 

4. Ask your friends and family to share your page with their social network. (Remember, this is also a way for people to support you - sometimes spreading the word is all people can afford to do.)

5. Be grateful! Thank your supporters immediately - you can do that by opting in to text alerts. If your supporters aren't giving anonymously, give them a shout out on social media.
