Where can I park?

As parking is limited, we highly recommend carpooling or if you live locally consider walking or jogging to the field as a warm-up. Parking may be available at the Municipal Lot on Woodland Ave. across from Ginty Field, near the Woodland Elementary School, and Ginty Pool accessible from South St.

What if I can’t run a whole 5K?

We have an option of a 1 Mile Course that you can walk or run or the Kids Trot which is short sprints on Ginty Field that vary by age - a separate race for each. The oldest kids run up to 150 meters while the 2 year olds run about 25 meters.

Can I bring the family?

Yes, this is a fun event for the whole family.   Kids 12 & under can participate in our special Kids’ Trot on Ginty Field at 9:15 am.   Kids can also run/walk the 1 Mile or 5K course.  For safety reasons, we strongly discourage the use of baby joggers and strollers on the race course. If you choose to use them, you will be asked to begin the race behind all other race participants. Please note that there is a one-hour cutoff for race completion per town regulations.
