Run for the Wild 2026

Make tracks for wildlife with more than 5,000 runners and walkers through the beautiful Bronx Zoo and help raise funds for red pandas and other threatened wildlife around the world.

The 5k race for individual runners will begin at 8:00 a.m.; casual runners and walkers can take part in the 3K Family Fun Run/Walk at 9:00 a.m.

Join us for New York’s wildest run, pick up your commemorative 2026 medal after you cross the finish line, and stay for the day to enjoy 265 acres of wildlife and see red pandas up close!

*All participants ages 16+ must meet the $35 minimum fundraising requirement in order to participate. The fundraising requirement is waived for children. Please see our FAQs for details on required minimum charges.
