WCS Run for the Wild 2025 Registration Sweepstakes (this “Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 18, 2025 and ends at 11:59pm ET on March 31, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is the Wildlife Conservation Society ("Sponsor"), with a principal place of business at 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10460. This Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. Certain restrictions may apply.
ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (not including territories and possessions) and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date this Sweepstakes begins. The officers, trustees, directors, partners, employees, independent contractors, interns, externs, volunteers and agents of Sponsor, OneCause, Inc. (“OneCause”), and each of the foregoing entities’ respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, sponsors, promotional partners, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members and those living in the same household, whether or not related, of the foregoing, are not eligible to enter or win. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to enter or win this Sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: This Sweepstakes is comprised of five (5) registration sprints as follows:
Sprint 1, Sprint 2, Sprint 3, Sprint 4, and Sprint 5 are, individually, a “Sprint” and, collectively, the “Sprints”; Sprint 1 Entry Period, Sprint 2 Entry Period, Sprint 3 Entry Period, Sprint 4 Entry Period, and Sprint 5 Entry Period are, individually, a “Sprint Entry Period” and, collectively, the “Sprint Entry Periods”.
Entrants are automatically entered into a Sprint of this Sweepstakes if, at any time during the corresponding Sprint Entry Period, they register to participate in WCS Run for the Wild 2025 (the “Event”), to be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 in person at the Bronx Zoo and virtually online, via the Event’s online platform. Prior to the end of a Sprint Entry Period, Event participants can opt out of entering the corresponding Sprint of this Sweepstakes by sending an email to RunfortheWild@wcs.org containing the Event participant’s name, home address, and email address; identifying this Sweepstakes and the applicable Sprint (e.g., WCS Run for the Wild 2025 Registration Sweepstakes – Sprint 3); and using the subject line OPT OUT.
Email alternative method of entry (FREE): Entrants may enter one or more Sprints of this Sweepstakes free of charge by emailing the entrant’s first and last names, full home address, date of birth, day and evening phone numbers, and email address to RunfortheWild@wcs.org. All email entries must identify this Sweepstakes and the applicable Sprint (e.g., WCS Run for the Wild 2025 Registration Sweepstakes – Sprint 3) in the subject line and must be received by Sponsor by the end of the Sprint Entry Period for the Sprint the entrant wishes to enter. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected, or mail-in entries, which will be disqualified. Email entrants are not required to register for the Event in order to be eligible to win the prize for any Sprint.
Limit one (1) entry per entrant for each Sprint of this Sweepstakes for which such entrant is eligible for the duration of this Sweepstakes (i.e., no entrant may win more than one (1) prize for any Sprint, but it is possible for a single entrant to win the prize for each separate Sprint for which such entrant is eligible). Entries received from any person in excess of the limit will be void. Any attempt to use multiple accounts or other tactics to enter more than the limit may result in the disqualification by Sponsor of entrant from a Sprint and/or this Sweepstakes and all associated entries will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated or mechanical means or by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. False, fraudulent, or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible and disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION; AWARDING OF PRIZES: Odds of winning a Sprint depend on the number of eligible entries received for such Sprint. Sponsor will randomly select ONE (1) potential winner for each Sprint from among eligible entries for such Sprint on or about the day after the end of the applicable Sprint Entry Period but in no event later than five (5) business days after the end of the applicable Sprint Entry Period. Each potential winner will be notified via email at the email address stated on his/her/their entry and must confirm his/her/their identity to Sponsor and execute, have notarized, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) days of such notification. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of each potential winner of each Sprint of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor will award a prize only after confirming the winner of such prize. The Sprint 1, Sprint 2, Sprint 3, and Sprint 5 prizes will be emailed or mailed to the applicable winner’s email or home address, unless such winner opts to pick up the prize in person at the Event at the Bronx Zoo on Saturday, April 26, 2025 as communicated in advance via email from such winner to Sponsor. The Sprint 4 prize will be awarded by Sponsor’s Member Services team contacting winner to activate the membership, and winner is solely responsible for replying by the stated deadline. Sponsor is not responsible for changes to entrants’ email or home addresses after the date on which they enter a Sprint. If a potential winner for any Sprint cannot be contacted, fails to reply to the winner notification as requested, is ineligible, fails to execute, have notarized, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release as requested, fails to claim the prize as requested, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, then such potential winner will be disqualified and forfeits the prize and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate potential winner for such Sprint may be selected, time permitting.
Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s permission to Sponsor to use, and to allow others, including without limitation anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns, to use, where permitted by law, such winner's name, city and state of residence, photograph, image, likeness, voice, opinions, statements, winning entry, and prize information in any manner, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide in perpetuity for Sponsor’s institutional, educational, promotional, and publicity purposes and for publicizing any corporate sponsor’s support of or role in this Sweepstakes and/or the Event, without additional consideration or compensation, permission, notification, or limitation except where prohibited by law.
All decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection, notification, and substitution of the winner of each Sprint in accordance with these Official Rules shall be binding and final.

Vouchers and tickets shall be subject to the terms and conditions stated thereon or as otherwise provided by Sponsor. With respect to the Bronx Zoo Food & Retail Voucher prize: voucher is redeemable only in-person at the Bronx Zoo; voucher must be presented at the time of use; one-time use only; restrictions and other terms may apply; voucher expires April 30, 2026. With respect to the Boogie Down at the Bronx Zoo Artists X Wildlife Art prize: prize will be one (1) limited edition Artists X Wildlife giclee from the Boogie Down at the Bronx Zoo event as determined by Sponsor; giclee will be signed and numbered and will come with a certificate of authenticity; actual value may vary based on market fluctuations; any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value will not be awarded. With respect to the Bronx Zoo Cozy Prize Pack prize: prize pack will consist of a Bronx Zoo blanket, a Bronx Zoo mug, a pair of socks, and a Bronx Zoo canvas tote bag. With respect to the WCS Family Zoos PLUS Membership prize: the membership must be activated by April 30, 2026; the membership is valid for one (1) year from the date of activation; actual value may be higher depending on when the membership is activated; to use the membership, winner must reserve date-specific tickets on-line prior to visiting; walk-ins are not permitted. With respect to the Holiday Lights 2025 Prize Pack prize: prize pack will consist of four (4) special light-up surprises as determined by Sponsor and four (4) Holiday Lights Any-Night Tickets valid for use on any public event date November 21, 2025 through January 4, 2026; to use the tickets, follow the instructions stated on the tickets; tickets expire January 4, 2026; actual value may be higher depending on programmatic inclusions.
Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Each prize includes only what is specified in the prize description. Winners may not make prize substitutions. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute any prize, or any portion thereof, with one of comparable or greater value and/or to add additional prizes. If, for whatever reason, Sponsor is unable to award any prize, or any portion thereof, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof and Sponsor will have no further obligation to the applicable winner.
All applicable federal, state, and local taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of a prize, if any, (e.g., transportation to/from the Bronx Zoo, parking at the Bronx Zoo) are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person/household per Sprint.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor shall not be liable to any winner or any other persons for failure to supply the prize, or any portion thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s), or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, epidemic or pandemic, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.
Sponsor and OneCause, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, sponsors, promotional partners, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies, all of their respective officers, trustees, directors, partners, employees, independent contractors, interns, externs, volunteers and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not responsible or liable to any entrant or any other persons for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions, or defects of any telephone, broadband, wireless or other network, computer online system, postal service, computer equipment, server, provider, mobile device, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile device relating to or resulting from participation in any Sprint of this Sweepstakes; inability to access the entry site; theft, tampering, destruction, or alteration of, or unauthorized access to, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or that is incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on transmission lines or the Internet or the entry site or for any other reason whatsoever; typographical, printing or other errors; or any combination thereof.
GENERAL: Entrants release and waive any claims they may have against the Sweepstakes Entities for any and all liabilities, injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, including without limitation those resulting from acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof (including without limitation any travel or activity related thereto); participation in this Sweepstakes; or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, computer on-line system, postal service, computer, mobile device or transmission device or its dating mechanism, equipment, hardware, software, or any combination thereof, or any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. OneCause does not sponsor, endorse or administer this Sweepstakes. All questions concerning this Sweepstakes must be directed to Sponsor and not to OneCause. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of New York and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum.
If for any reason it is not possible to operate any Sprint of this Sweepstakes as planned, or if any Sprint of this Sweepstakes or any website or any account address associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of such Sprint of this Sweepstakes and processing of entries therefor in accordance with these Official Rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of such Sprint of this Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend such Sprint of this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event any Sprint of this Sweepstakes is cancelled or terminated, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing to award the prize for such Sprint from among all eligible, non-suspect entries for such Sprint received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation or termination. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, then notification will be posted at the entry site.
If a dispute about who submitted an entry on the entry site or via email arises, then the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the entry. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization with such responsibility. A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend any Sprint of this Sweepstakes for any reason or no reason.
