NO PURCHASE OR OTHER CONSIDERATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR THE PROVISION OF OTHER CONSIDERATION WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

WCS Run for the Wild 2024 Points & Prizes Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 22, 2024 and ends at 11:59pm ET on April 21, 2024 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is the Wildlife Conservation Society ("Sponsor"), with a principal place of business at 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10460. This Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. Certain restrictions may apply.

ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (not including territories and possessions) and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date the Sweepstakes begins. The officers, trustees, directors, partners, employees, independent contractors, interns, externs, volunteers and agents of Sponsor, OneCause, Inc. (“OneCause”), and each of the foregoing entities’ respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, sponsors, promotional partners, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members and those living in the same household, whether or not related, of the foregoing, are not eligible to enter or win. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to enter or win this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER: Entrants are automatically entered into this Sweepstakes if, at any time during the Sweepstakes Period, they (a) register to participate in WCS Run for the Wild 2024 (the “Event”), to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in person at the Bronx Zoo and virtually online, via the Event’s online platform and (b) properly document on their personal webpage in the Participant Center (provided for Event participants’ convenience) on the Event’s online platform that they have earned at least the minimum number of points required to be eligible to win a prize as stated in the prize chart below. Event participants may earn points by completing specific activities, including certain limited outreach and social media activities, and documenting the activities on their personal webpage in the Participant Center; point-earning activities and associated point values are described at https://p2p.onecause.com/run-for-the-wild/page/points-and-prizes. Event participants can readily verify activities completed and track points earned via their personal webpage in the Participant Center. Prior to 11:59pm ET on April 21, 2024, Event participants can opt out of entering this Sweepstakes by (1) refraining from documenting point-earning activities on their personal webpage in the Participant Center or (2) sending an email to RunfortheWild@wcs.org containing the Event participant’s name, address, and email address; identifying this WCS Run for the Wild 2024 Points & Prizes Sweepstakes; and using the subject line OPT OUT.

Email alternative method of entry (FREE): Entrants may enter this Sweepstakes free of charge by emailing the entrant’s first and last names, full address, date of birth, day and evening phone numbers, and email address to RunfortheWild@wcs.org. All email entries must identify this WCS Run for the Wild 2024 Points & Prizes Sweepstakes in the subject line and be received by 11:59pm ET on April 21, 2024. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or mail-in entries, which will be disqualified. Email entrants are not required to register for the Event or earn and document points in order to be eligible to win a prize.

Limit one (1) entry per entrant for each tier level of this Sweepstakes for which such entrant is eligible for the duration of this Sweepstakes (i.e., no entrant may win more than one (1) prize for any tier level, but it is possible for a single entrant to win one (1) prize for each separate tier level for which such entrant is eligible). Entries received from any person in excess of the limit will be void. Any attempt to use multiple accounts or other tactics to enter more than the limit may result in the disqualification by Sponsor of entrant from this Sweepstakes and all associated entries will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means or by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. False, fraudulent, or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible and disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Odds of winning for a tier level depend on the number of eligible entries received for such tier level. Sponsor will randomly select the number of winners for each tier level as stated in the prize chart below from among eligible entries for such tier level on or about the day after the end of the Sweepstakes Period but in no event later than five (5) business days after the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Each potential winner will be notified via email at the email address provided by the entrant and must confirm and verify his/her/their identity to Sponsor within the time period requested in such notification. Prizes may be picked up in person at the Event at the Bronx Zoo on Saturday, April 27, 2024 or will be emailed or mailed to winners who are virtual Event participants or who entered through email. At the time of pick up of or prior to emailing or mailing a prize, as the case may be, each winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release. Sponsor is not responsible for changes to entrants’ email or mailing addresses after the date on which they enter the Sweepstakes. If a potential winner for any tier level cannot be contacted, fails to reply to the winner notification as requested, is ineligible, fails to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release as requested, fails to claim the prize as requested, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, then such potential winner will be disqualified and forfeits the prize and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner for such tier level may be selected, time permitting. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of the winners of each tier level of this Sweepstakes.

Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s permission to Sponsor to use, and to allow others, including without limitation anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns, to use, where permitted by law, such winner's name, address (city and state of residence), photograph, image, likeness, voice, opinions, statements, winning entry, and prize information, in any manner, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide in perpetuity for Sponsor’s institutional, educational, promotional, and publicity purposes and for publicizing any corporate sponsor’s support of or role in the Sweepstakes, without additional consideration or compensation, permission, notification, or limitation except where prohibited by law.

All decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection, notification, and substitution of the winners of each tier level in accordance with these Official Rules shall be binding and final.

PRIZES

Gift cards, vouchers, gift vouchers, and tickets shall be subject to the terms and conditions stated thereon or as otherwise provided by and applicable to the applicable vendor. With respect to each Bronx Zoo Voucher for food and retail prize: voucher is redeemable only in-person at the Bronx Zoo; voucher must be presented at the time of use; one-time use only; restrictions apply; voucher expires April 30, 2025. With respect to each Pumpkin Nights 2024 Tickets prize: prize will be awarded as four (4) gift vouchers, each redeemable for one (1) Pumpkin Nights Admission Ticket valid for use on any Pumpkin Nights 2024 operating night from September 26, 2024 through October 27, 2024, subject to availability; to use the prize, gift vouchers must be redeemed for date-specific tickets; to redeem gift vouchers for date-specific tickets, follow the redemption instructions stated on the gift vouchers; walk-ins are not permitted; gift vouchers expire October 27, 2024. With respect to each Holiday Lights 2024 Prize Pack prize: prize will be awarded as four (4) special light-up surprises as determined by Sponsor and four (4) Holiday Lights Any-Night Tickets valid for use on any public event date November 22, 2024 through January 5, 2025; to use the tickets, follow the instructions stated on the tickets; tickets expire January 5, 2025.

Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Each prize includes only what is specified in the prize description. Winners may not make prize substitutions. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute any prize, or any portion thereof, with one of comparable or greater value and/or to add additional prizes. If, for whatever reason, Sponsor is unable to award any prize, or any portion thereof, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof and Sponsor will have no further obligation to the applicable winner.

All applicable federal, state, and local taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of a prize, if any, (e.g., transportation to/from the Bronx Zoo, parking at the Bronx Zoo) are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person/household per tier level.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor shall not be liable to any winner or any other persons for failure to supply the prize, or any portion thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s), or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, epidemic or pandemic, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.

Sponsor and OneCause, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, sponsors, promotional partners, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotional agencies, all of their respective officers, trustees, directors, partners, employees, independent contractors, interns, externs, volunteers and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not responsible or liable to any entrant or any other persons for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions, or defects of any telephone, broadband, wireless or other network, computer online system, postal service, computer equipment, server, provider, mobile device, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person's computer or mobile device relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; inability to access the entry site; theft, tampering, destruction, or alteration of, or unauthorized access to, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or that is incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on transmission lines or the Internet or the entry site or for any other reason whatsoever; typographical, printing or other errors; or any combination thereof.

RIGHTS GRANTED BY ENTRANTS: By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant understands and agrees that Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor, and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns shall have the right to use, where permitted by law, the entrant’s name, address (city and state of residence), photograph, image, likeness, voice, opinions, and statements provided by the entrant in connection with this Sweepstakes in any manner, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide in perpetuity for Sponsor’s institutional, educational, promotional, and publicity purposes and for publicizing any corporate sponsor’s support of or role in the Sweepstakes and/or the Event, without remuneration. Each entrant must also secure the permission of any recognizable person (or in the case of a minor, the minor’s parent or guardian) whose image or likeness appears in any photograph or video for all purposes described herein, and present satisfactory evidence of such permission to the Sponsor if requested. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry if the Sponsor finds, in its sole discretion, that an entrant has not secured the necessary permission.

SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITY: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by or associated with Facebook or X (formerly Twitter). Each entrant releases any and all claims he/she/they may have against Facebook or X for any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorneys' fees) arising out of the entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes. Entrants who, for the purpose of increasing point earnings, create multiple social media accounts or post duplicate or near-duplicate posts within a single day on a social media platform will be disqualified from participating in this Sweepstakes. Entrants are reminded that their social media activity is subject at all times to the rules of any social media platform they use.

GENERAL: Entrants release and waive any claims they may have against the Sweepstakes Entities for any and all liabilities, injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including without limitation those resulting from acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof (including without limitation any travel or activity related thereto); participation in this Sweepstakes; or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network and/or transmission line, computer on-line system, postal service, computer, mobile device or transmission device or its dating mechanism, equipment, hardware, software, or any combination thereof, or any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, mutilated, delayed, corrupted, mechanically duplicated, illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. OneCause does not sponsor, endorse or administer the Sweepstakes. All questions concerning the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Sponsor and not to OneCause. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of New York and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum.

If for any reason it is not possible to operate this Sweepstakes as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any website or any account address associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of this Sweepstakes and processing of entries therefor in accordance with these Official Rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, then Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled or terminated, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing to award the prizes for each tier level from among all eligible, non-suspect entries for such tier level received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation or termination. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, then notification will be posted at the entry site.

If a dispute about who submitted an entry on the entry site or via email arises, then the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the entry. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization with such responsibility. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that such potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes for any reason or no reason.
