Since 1995, Parkinson Foundation Western Pennsylvania (PFWPA) has served to enrich, engage, educate, and empower individuals and their families impacted by Parkinson's disease (PD) during what can be a challenging, overwhelming, and often isolating period in their lives. PFWPA is the resource for information, programs, support, and connection for people with PD and their loved ones throughout our region. There are 12,000 individuals with PD living in Western Pennsylvania; based upon our region's demographics and other risk factors, the number of individuals diagnosed will continue to grow.
Services provided through PFWPA rely solely on memorial and individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and grants.
