This year's Step Forward is like Step Forward Version 2.0 - there are more ways to fundraise, engage your friends and family, have fun, and win prizes than ever before.
In addition to sharing your fundraiser with your friends and family via email, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media and networking platforms to raise monetary donations, there are additional ways you can earn points, and make the way to the top of our leaderboard, and win prizes!
In addition to earning points through our daily activities in the month of October (which you can learn about on the "Participate in Activities" page), you can earn additional points everyday through the following activities:
Recruiting Participants - 25 Points for Every Participant Recruited
- In order to receive credit, your invitee must list your name when they are prompted on the registration page with the question "If someone invited you to register, tell us who so we can give them credit."
Social Media - 50 Points for Every Tweet on Twitter
- In order to receive credit, you must have your Twitter account linked, and use the hashtag #stepforward4parkinsons on your post
Social Media - 50 Points for Every Picture or Video Posted to Instagram
- In order to receive credit, you must have your Instagram account linked, and use the hashtag #stepforward4parkinsons on your post
Fundraising Donations - 1 Point for Every $1 Donated to Your Individual Page
