The Stop Traffic Walk raises funds for one of the nation’s largest human trafficking rescue and rehabilitation operation in North America, Where Hope Lives. The funds you raise through the Stop Traffic Walk will help rescue trafficked individuals and give them the skills necessary to build a strong, vibrant life.
This is a family event and will open at 4:00 PM with free inflatables and games for children, food trucks, vendors, entertainment, and more. The walk will take place at 6:00 PM around the perimeter of the complex and will be less than a mile.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING is modern-day slavery and it’s believed to be the third-largest criminal activity in the world. There are an estimated 40 million victims of human trafficking, globally.
By joining us at the Stop Traffic Walk, you become a vital part of the fight against human trafficking and will give hope to survivors of trafficking.
Proceeds from the walk go directly to programs that rescue, rehabilitate, and empower survivors. Your participation funds safe housing, trauma counseling, education, and job training for those who escaped trafficking.
