Time for Equality

The Human Rights Campaign is big part of our lives. I was raised to stand up for myself, to always be proud of am, and to work hard for the change I want to see. I am proud to be the first person from West Texas to serve as a Board of Governor for the Human Rights Campaign and proud to represent San Antonio and my Latinx and LGBTQ communities.

As the largest LBGTQ Civil Rights Organization, HRC represents over 3.1 million members and supporters. Donations are crucial to ensuring equal rights for the LGBTQ community. Funds raised will support HRC’s initiatives and programs, including: strengthening anti-bullying programs across the country and the continuing the fight for equality.

We’ve come a long way in the fight for equality. But we still haven’t passed a comprehensive federal civil rights law in the United States to explicitly protect LGBTQ people from being discriminated against because of who they are or who they love. It’s time we change that! 

To help in our fight we are excited to be a part of HRC’s “Time For Equality” virtual event that will bring all HRC communities and committees together! The event is free but you can support HRC by giving a donating to my page. Any amount helps!
