Originally used for mules pulling canal boats, the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail is now the key walking, running, and biking route from Cleveland to New Philadelphia. The Towpath Trail provides natural, cultural, historical, and recreational opportunities throughout the Ohio & Erie Canalway. Currently, 92 miles are complete with the remaining 9 miles in Tuscarawas County in planning and development. The Huntington Towpath Century Ride provides vital support for the development of the final miles of the Towpath Trail annually. Join the ride and be a part of the legacy!
