About TSONS Walks!
Let's Get Walking to Support Our Amazing School!
We are so excited to kick-off TSONS Walks with our TSONS Community! We hope the next few weeks serve as a reminder of the special community we have at TSONS and why it is so important we do our part to continue to support our school. If you still need to register, you can do so by clicking REGISTER in the menu bar. Once you have created an account and logged in, you will be directed to your user dashboard where you can set up and manage your team, collect pledges, track miles walked, and order t-shirts.
For the next 3 weeks (May 1st-May 22nd), make sure to walk with your family to help raise funds for our school! You can set a personal mileage goal and ask friends and family to donate to your efforts. Don't forget to record your walking miles on your fundraising page! You can do this by clicking on WHAT'S HAPPENING in the top menu bar and scrolling down to LET'S GET WALKING. From there, click on the activity THROW ON YOUR SNEAKERS and you will be able to record your fitness activities. Remember, for every mile you walk, your team gets 5 points! And don't forget to cheer on our TSONS staff who are aiming to walk 655 miles!
Try Out the Challenges!
Keep an eye out for new challenges dropping throughout the week! You can find these challenges by clicking on WHAT'S HAPPENING on the top menu bar and scrolling down to COMPLETE THE CHALLENGES. Follow the instructions on each challenge and don't forget to upload a picture to complete the challenge! When your family completes a challenge, you will receive 100 points as well as 1 entry into our final drawing!
Mark Your Calendars-- Fun Prizes and Celebratory Zoom!
We have fun prize baskets for our top fundraisers and top point leaders that include Disneyland/California Adventure tickets (good through Dec. 2022!), restaurant gift certificates, champagne and wine, and more! Additionally, for every challenge completed, you will receive 1 entry into our final drawing for fun prizes such as gift cards to restaurants, grocery stores, and even Disneyland tickets!
Prizes will be announced on a special celebratory zoom SUNDAY, MAY 23RD AT 9AM. Stay tuned for more information1

Why Participate?
A Message from the TSONS Board of Directors
Dear Families and Supporters,
COVID-19 has impacted all of us. Yet, we are grateful for the teachers and staff who dedicated considerable energy to providing TSONS students with a robust nursery school experience in the midst of the pandemic. From creating virtual classes from scratch to setting up smaller in-person classrooms, TSONS teachers and staff quickly met the challenges presented by COVID-19. We cannot say thank you enough for the joy, laughter and love they gave our children in these challenging times!
But, TSONS needs us now more than ever! For the second year in a row, we have cancelled our Spring Event due to COVID-19. The Spring Event is our largest fundraiser and critical to supporting TSONS' robust programming, teacher salaries and bonuses, and other operating costs. Tuition alone does not fully cover the costs of educating TSONS students, so the cancellation of the Spring Event has had a significant impact on our school.
We decided to adapt with the times and create a virtual walk-a-thon to raise funds for TSONS. Donations of any size are appreciated, and every dollar raised will directly support the school and our amazing teachers. In addition to raising funds for TSONS, the walk-a-thon is a great opportunity to get outside, virtually connect with the TSONS community, and show school spirit.
