Walk for Autism | Autism Resource Fair | Inclusive Employment Showcase

The Autism Community is gathering for this special event - and we want YOU to be there! Join friends, family and the autism community at Quinnipiac University North Haven Campus on May 21st, 2023!

Autism Services and Resources Connecticut (ASRC), and Clifford Beers Community Care Center, will hold the 26th Annual Walk and Festival for Autism on May 21, 2023, at Quinnipiac University’s North Haven Campus. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. and will include a walk around the picturesque campus and surrounding areas, as well as two additional concurrent events on the campus: the return of the popular “autism resource fair”, and the “inclusive employment showcase”. There is no charge for attendance at any of the activities, but all participants must be registered.

The Walk and Resource Fair are also a GREAT opportunity to learn from multiple organizations in the autism community about resources, about social groups, about transition options, and about pathways to employment.

Walk Start time is at 9:30 am.
Resource Fair and Employment showcase run 9-1:30.
The Walk will be held on May 21st at Quinnipiac University in North Haven, CT. Quinnipiac North Haven is centrally-located and provides ample space, with easy access from main highways.
100% of funds raised stay in Connecticut to support Connecticut residents living with autism
Over 30,000 families, individuals, professionals, school personnel, and service providers have walked for ASRC over the years. Each year over 1,000 walkers join us; last year it was over 2,000!
We are the original Walk for Autism in Connecticut - since 1997.
This is a COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENT! Please come out and say hello to old friends, make new ones, and explore the resource and employment showcases!

PARTICIPATION IS EASY! JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

Register as an individual, or Join/Start a Team: Friends, family, coworkers, partners, cousins, neighbors, brothers, sisters - ANYONE can be a part of your team! Let's have some fun with this!
Once you register, a fundraising page is created for you with built-in tools to fundraise via social media, email, or even text! While you are not required to fundraise, we encourage you to share our story, and our need. This is our primary fundraiser for the year - and through your fundraising page, you will be able to reach out to your squad to help you reach your personal fundraising goal.
Have Fun! Earn points and achievement badges for participation in fundraising, posting pictures/videos, and sharing on social media. Special celebratory prizes will be awarded for individuals and teams that have the most points, as well as those that earn the most funds by May 18, 2023.
Compete! If your team is in the top 3 for fundraising, you get prizes! (Minimum's apply). Up for a challenge?!
