Walk for Hope 2024

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Walk for Hope?

Housing Assistance Corporation is proud to present the 6th Annual Walk for Hope! This community based peer-to-peer fundraiser gives participants the opportunity to raise awareness of housing issues on Cape Cod and help our neighbors access safe, stable housing on Cape Cod and the Islands.

Whether you're walking as an individual or with a team, you'll be offering HOPE with every step you take and every dollar you raise! You will give hope to our most vulnerable neighbors needing access to critical services. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

EVENT DETAILS AT A GLANCE:

The Walk for Hope will be celebrated on Sunday, May 19, 2024. More details can be found on our Day of Walk page.

Walk and fundraise as an individual or on a team! Connect with friends, family, and colleagues who share your passion for giving back and helping others by starting a team or joining one. Together, you’ll create more awareness to the need for more safe, stable housing in our region while showing what it truly means to be a community.

To learn more about fundraising (online and offline), please visit the How to Fundraise page. If you need some motivation, visit the Fundraising Incentives page!

How do I choose which walk I want to attend?

During online registration, supporters will choose which walk location they plan to join on event day. Leading up to the event, our staff will send specific event details for the walk location you select. Event details for each location are also listed below.

Where will each walk take place?

How will my donation make a difference?

By walking, donating, and fundraising, you'll be supporting Housing Assistance's programs and services, which include homelessness prevention, homeless outreach, operating three family shelters, plus creating more affordable and attainable housing. Housing Assistance helps over 6,500 households per year secure the safe, stable housing they need to live and thrive on Cape Cod and the Islands.
