Can I restart my team from last year?
Yes. You can access all of your team information from 2023 by using the same login. If you forgot your login, select
"Already registered", enter your email and select "Forgot password" and a reset link will be sent to you.
What is the difference between registering as an individual and creating a team?
There is power in numbers, walkers are motivated to join when they see that their peers are participating. Creating a team tracks your family and friends in one area. The team captain will know when someone registers or makes a donation.
What are the responsibilities of a Team Captain?
Team Captains are responsible for recruiting friends, family and colleagues to help raise funds for the cause. Resources and ideas on how to make your team successful are available. Team Captains also have the most important job of all: ensuring everyone is motivated and having fun!

Is this donation tax deductible?
The tax deduction is limited to the excess of the contribution over the fair market value of any items received in exchange for the donation (admission to the Zoo).
Where do the funds go?
Proceeds from this event benefit services such as bereavement, expressive therapies, pediatric services and other unreimbursed services. It is these services and others that allow Hospice of the Western Reserve stand apart from other hospice programs.
Can I call you with my registration? What if I have a question?
You can call in your registration information with a credit card. Registration can also be done online at hospicewr.org/wtr or by mail.
Will there be early pick up for wristbands?
No. Wristbands can be picked up from registration on Walk day beginning at 7:30 a.m. from registration. Registration will be located in the ticketing plaza outside the zoo entrance.
Will I receive t-shirt with my registration?
No. A limited number of t-shirts will be available for purchase on Walk Day.
Will any type of refreshments be provided?
Bottled water will be available on the walk route at designated locations. Restaurants and snacks are also available from Zoo vendors. Please refer to the zoo map for locations.
