Share your fundraising page on social media

  • Connect with family, friends and colleagues through Facebook! You can connect your fundraising page directly to your Facebook page.
  • Use our Facebook profile picture frame to show your support and raise awareness[LNW1]

Ask 10 people for $10 dollars.

We can’t tell you how many people have told us that they would have donated if someone had asked them. So don’t be afraid to ask! Think about the places and people you spend money with – dentist, salon, chiropractor -- if you share your passion for Hospice of the Western Reserve with someone – they will be inspired by what you are doing!

Think about the friends that you’ve donated to (for walks, fundraisers, etc.)

It’s their turn to support you. Reach out to them.

 Talk It Up

Make your meetings work for you! Ask for a few minutes on the agenda of any meetings you attend. Explain why you are participating in the Walk to Remember and ask for everyone’s support. Even small contributions will push you closer to your fundraising goal.

 Celebrate

You love the birthday cake and ice cream, but don’t really need anything else? Here’s an idea to put those gift givers to work fundraising! Tell your family and friends that in lieu of a traditional gift, you would like them to make a donation to the Walk to Remember. You’ll feel good… and they will, too!
